What's New on Xbox Game Pass in January 2025: Exciting Additions and Returning Games

Here’s what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2025:
January 7: Road 96 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
January 14: EA Sports UFC 5 (Cloud and Xbox Series X|S Ultimate), Diablo (PC Ultimate and PC Game Pass)
It’s important to note that Diablo is exclusive to the Ultimate and PC tiers, while UFC 5 is only available on PC via Game Pass Ultimate.
In addition to these new releases, four games are making a return to the Standard tier:
Lightyear Frontier (Xbox Series X|S) - Early Access
My Time at Sandrock (Console)
Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders (Xbox Series X|S)
Rolling Hills (Console)
These titles were previously available on Console but were moved to the Ultimate tier when Standard was introduced. Now, they have found their way back to the middle-tier subscription.
Looking ahead, the only confirmed title for next month is Avowed, set to launch on February 18. This RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, the creators of Grounded and The Outer Worlds, will mark the first major release from Xbox Game Studios in 2025.
